        @janbeta Today I realised: the Polish word "szwankuje" (it's malfunctioning) is yet another borrow from German 🙂 Should have figured from it's agressive sound 😉

                      @Sylvhem Popped up on eBay, there seem to be quite a few of these around there still (albeit for more money than I paid). Search for Woelke (which is the manufacturer) wow & flutter meter or Tonhöhenschwankungsmesser. Prices are mostly way over the top though, I got lucky.

                          @Datassette_User One of the few advantages of the German language, I guess. You can just make up compound words that basically include the whole manual in themelves… 😅
