Some tabs are crashing in Firefox Nightly on #Mastodon 4.5.8, especially when I consult my profile page. I don't have this problem with Firefox Release, either on Windows or KDE Neon. So I'll wait until they fix the issue for the Nightly (alpha, remember) version and then switch back to the stable version for a few days.@firefoxnightlyI have activated the bug report on Nightly, and the URL is attached.

@MsDropbear42 I checked with the team, this is a warning that on some sites, ETP set to Strict mode may cause web compatibility issues. The banner shows up to often and a bug is on file to change the heuristics to make it less frequent. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2026154

When you control the engine, you can fix problems or at the engine level and not work around them on the front end. When we create new UX, we also create in the engine things like accessibility and l10n support, or new web extension APIs to allow future addons to build on top of our new UX. Example with Split View that shipped yesterday: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2016749BTW, Zen is a good Firefox fork, so it's based on Gecko ️

@firefoxnightly moved to Firefox last year and it's been seamless.  They also seem to be making good decisions based on user feedback, no ragrats, not even a letter.
