agents detained Marie-Therese Ross in Alabama April 1 after she overstayed her 90-day visa…. Ross is now being held at a federal immigration facility in Louisiana.

A few months later, on the morning of April 1, Ms. Ross-Mahé was arrested by US officials & removed from her home in Anniston, dressed only in her nightgown, robe & underwear.

She was still dressed in her prison wear — orange shoes, sweatpants & a gray sweater, covered in stains & holes, according to one of her sons. She was in a state of shock, & was physically & spiritually exhausted after the ordeal.
