I remember hearing talk of this being considered at one point in Canada, with an emphasis on how it could narrow gaps in the availability of banking services in remote locations.

All “last mile” deliveries should be Canada Post.

Postal banking (that did exist in Canada prior to 1968) is kind of a no-brainer.

When I was in France there were all kinds of postal banking outlets...and they were obviously popular because they were crowded!
