Writing this made me nostalgic for all of the time I spent listening to albums as a kid while reading the liner notes. I love liner notes. If you make music and release it with liner notes I will always read them.

The poetry of lyrics can paint a picture, but instrumental music can do that, too. It's a little like the difference between reading a book and watching a movie. Lyrics be like "This is what I want to say" and instruments are like "Imagine what this story is about."
