On Jan 1 I installed "Walk with Frodo" on my Garmin.

Now February 1, I have made it to and through Bree, am now in the company of Strider, and almost to the Chetwood.

I spent most of February trudging my way from Bree to Weathertop. I should have made it there quicker, but it got really cold and snowy, then I got sick to end the month.2

Weathertop is *so* much farther away from Bree than I would have thought/.

I'm now headed for the East Road, 397 km from Bag End.
