I regretted it, but I was a child and couldn't do otherwise. Years later, I saw my aunt about to throw away my cousins' C64 (it wasn’t working, it showed the blue screen but never reached the prompt) along with the disk drive, joystick, and so on. I stopped her and asked if she could give it to me, I would keep it. She gladly let me have it, and it's still somewhere at my parents' house.
I think the F1 key is missing, I remember well when it popped off. Sooner or later I'll get my hands on it and make it work. It was the first keyboard I ever typed on, two months before I received my own.

Except some notable examples (My first C64, my Amiga, my first PC), I never sold old hardware when buying new.

When I'll be old(er), I'll probably open a small retro computing museum.
