Edmonton: Hunter
An anthropomorphic Canadian Lynx, he is named after the co-founder of the team Bill Hunter. He debuted on Sept. 26, 2016 and wears the number 72 in honour of the founding of the Alberta\Edmonton Oilers when they joined the WHA in 1972.

The original mascot was Prankster Bear in 1990-91, but the current mascot is Fin, an anthropomorphic orca that debuted in the 2001-02 season. He sometimes chomps on the heads of fans at the games.

A bipedal polar bear, he debuted on Oct. 10, 1995. His number and name comes from the location of Maple Leaf Gardens (60 Carlton Street). He also travels with the team sometimes and has visited 20 different arenas in 17 cities in his career.

Spartacat has been the mascot of the Ottawa Senators since they joined the NHL in 1992. He is an anthropomorphic lion and he was designed by Kevin Caradonna, who also created the forward-facing centurion logo for the team.

From 1979 to 2004, Youppi! was the mascot of the Montreal Expos. After the Expos relocated, the Montreal Canadiens adopted him and he was the first mascot to switch between major sports leagues. He is in the Mascot Hall of Fame.
