The US public is given precious little information on the human tissue and bodies markets, which are extremely lucrative for these and other labs across the country. It’s gruesome and the labs are, IMO, just as greedy as corporations and often less disclosing.

In theory this could not happen in the UK due to the Human Tissue Act 2004 which regulates what bodies can be used for and requires consent.

But I would hope now Americans are alert to what is happening there, that there would be greater scrutiny of practices here in the UK.
