It just looked really cool, and I assumed it would be some Irish folk record, and I was right. </p><p>However, I wasn’t prepared for how this album would catch me. I absolutely fell in love with it. <br />It’s got all the bells and whistles of traditional Irish folk balladry. Banjos, guitars, sing-along pub chants, whistles… the whole works. </p><p>However… it’s got a kind of political rebel spirit underneath, the same kind that all the punk rock I listened to as a kid had. <br />I just adore these songs.<br />Particularly “The Sun Is Burning”. <br />Such a great album. </p><p><a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/vinyl" rel="tag">#<span>vinyl</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/vinylrecords" rel="tag">#<span>vinylrecords</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/vinylcommunity" rel="tag">#<span>vinylcommunity</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/vinylcollection" rel="tag">#<span>vinylcollection</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/retro" rel="tag">#<span>retro</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/vintage" rel="tag">#<span>vintage</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/art" rel="tag">#<span>art</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/music" rel="tag">#<span>music</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/irish" rel="tag">#<span>irish</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/ireland" rel="tag">#<span>ireland</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/folk" rel="tag">#<span>folk</span></a></p>
