According to CNN and IRIB, direct in-person negotiations between the U.S. and Iran have been ongoing for over 14 hours. Pakistani sources report a largely positive overall tone, but control over the Strait of Hormuz remains the cause of the stalemate. Tasnim News Agency reports the final round is nearing its end but there is still no positive indication.
