Conversion from 8 to 9 speed. Shimano Sora road derailleur, long cage. 38 mm tires. Aluminum pedals. Replace the seat too. Most recently, I ditched the cruiser handlebar, and converted to a drop bars on a new, adjustable angle stem, with a touch of bull horns.

Smooth, quiet and fast as hell.
