<![CDATA[Good morning.]]>Good morning. Other than a few errands I am not sure what the day has in store.

Yesterday on my walk I was able to find a few lady slipper plants just beginning to appear. They're a few weeks behind schedule, but better late than never.

I had to beat a hasty retreat out of the woods because I was swarmed by mosquitoes. I'm not sure where they came from since we're under drought conditions, but I won't be venturing back anytime soon.

It sure doesn't take much water for those nasty critters to thrive. I hope you were able to avoid the bites.

It was cool so I had heavy pants and a hooded sweatshirt on, plus boots to fend off ticks. Luckily I didn't get bitten, but it freaked me out.

I discovered a couple of lady slippers years ago on my walks through the woods. I usually love walking through to see how many I can find, because they aren't easy to spot. Not happening this year!

Mosquitoes, ugh! I hope you didn't get bitten.

I had to google lady slippers. I don't think I've ever seen one around here. I'm glad you found a few.
