<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[On the rails again… #Interrail #CrossBorderRail]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p>On the rails again… <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/Interrail" rel="tag">#<span>Interrail</span></a> <a href="https://cupoftea.social/tags/CrossBorderRail" rel="tag">#<span>CrossBorderRail</span></a> </p><p>Today <span><a href="https://mendeddrum.org/@wendy" rel="nofollow noopener">@<span>wendy</span></a></span>, a friend and I are starting the long train trip back to Barcelona, via the scenic route: through Switzerland.</p><p>Today’s itinerary: <a href="https://moof.space/trip/2026-05-02" rel="nofollow noopener"><span>https://</span><span>moof.space/trip/2026-05-02</span><span></span></a></p><p>My friend doesn’t really know Switzerland very well, so we decided to take a natural break in our trip and visit Bern, which was a way for them to ensure the price of their ticket didn’t balloon too much. </p><p>We’re going to overnight in Geneva, before catching the afternoon train from Lyon to Barcelona tomorrow.</p><p>Unless, of course, the train we are currently sitting in is cancelled. DB reckons it’s running, and we are definitely driving down the tracks, but SBB’s app insists that this train is actually cancelled. Which rather surprised the Zugchef when I showed him.</p>
