<![CDATA[Visited the Settlement Quarry Preserve in Stonington, Maine today.]]>Visited the Settlement Quarry Preserve in Stonington, Maine today. It hasn't been all that long since it was a working quarry, so it doesn't have a lot of big trees. But we did find a pocket of older birch trees. And it's been plenty of time for mosses and lichens to settle in.
