No real reason given, they're just bored I guess?</p><p>Rosetta is freaking magic - it lets us run our old x86 software (you know, that we paid for) on our M-series macs.</p><p>It's the same software - or the same name, anyway - that *used to* let us play our old 32-bit games, until Apple decided we didn't need to anymore.</p><p>You know why I'm still on my m1 mini? Shit like this.</p><p>Dear Apple: I can't in good conscience keep buying new hardware if you are going to keep breaking legacy things that I paid for and like and need and use. Killing x86 support is a bridge too far.</p><p>I'm not leaving you - you're leaving me behind.
