I wanna try NVGT, but I want a later version than the one on the website which hasn't been updated since 2024.
When I open it, it just says that it quit because of a problem, and tells me to contact the dev or something like that.

Disclaimer: never used NGVT and my reply here is based on what I read on the repo. Therefore it's kinda reply guy style. Sorry for that.

As far as I can see, those files aren't binary executables but precompiled libraries. It seems that you have to clone the git repository, move the files the root of the new local repo and build NGVT from scratch. Well, almost from scratch.

Apparently you need to rename a library or create a link to it with a more generic name.
