Happy Wednesday, North Carolina! We will have maybe a couple of isolated showers around this morning, but most places will be dry and just partly to mostly cloudy. The rain has really dried up this morning a trend I talked about yesterday evening.

We will then have a break, followed by this afternoon as a front moves in. We could see a few scattered showers/storms late this afternoon into the overnight across the state, depending on how well the atmosphere recovers. The focus area seems to be leaving the Foothills and moving into Central/parts of Eastern NC, but they seem scattered and isolated. We will see if the coverage gets going. There could be a limited severe weather threat, with gusty to potentially damaging winds from a storm or two, and maybe some hail. The tornado threat seems very low at this point. Severe weather is not guaranteed; it'll depend on how much sunshine and warming occur and whether we don't see too much dry air.

Highs in the 60s and 70s for most areas, I'll pass along some radar updates ect today!

-Ethan
