<![CDATA[CDC's acting dir.]]>CDC's acting dir. Jay Bhattacharya has blocked a report showing the efficacy of the covid-19 vaccine from being published in the agency’s flagship scientific journal.

"The report had cleared the agency’s scientific-review process, which includes dozens of scientists. Stopping an MMWR report at that stage is highly unusual, say former CDC officials."

Bhattacharya has concerns about its methodology long used by the CDC.

Ideology trumps science.
