This is hilarious and it is going to be absolutely chaotic.

Our institution wanted to go to a plan with 30 GB per person storage. We also begged to be able to pay for additional storage individually to no avail. In the end they are least signed us up for a slightly better plan.

We're prohibited from installing anything. So a few years ago we all lost PDF software for several months because the contract wasn't renewed in time. And we're currently losing a major digital storage platform which is not great. They won't let us pay for individual licenses for that, either. Even from research funds.
