But my guess is, yeah, this is basically an Iranian win.

Which seemed like the most likely outcome, I didn't see a way for the USA to win; in between the predictable war crimes, the US empire spent the whole war stepping on rakes and then getting brained by the handle.

The alternative outcome is "the USA nukes them", in which case everyone would lose, in the worst way, forever.
