Anomalous Tanker Movement in the Strait of Hormuz
A sanctioned non-Iranian VLCC supertanker entered Iranian waters with AIS active. Separately, an Iranian tanker successfully transited the blockade in the strait. Other sanction-compliant tankers are heading towards Iraq with their AIS transponders off.
