Question for my trans siblings: How did you come out at work? Did you just show up one day, looking different as usual? Did you write an e-mail or tell them in person? Did you tell them all at once?

The reason I'm asking: I work for a company where I know many people for up to 20 years. We haven't worked together for the whole time, but have pretty much just all met again in this company. I don't see any of them outside of work, but many of them still feel close and there is a lot of trust we lay into each other. Additionally, we are all working from home for about 95% of the time and are never in the office at the same time.

I have no idea how to come out to them. I would like to let them know alltogether, but an e-mail feels to "unpersonal". Telling them all in an online team meeting feels to centric, as I don't really want to make a big deal about it. And just starting to sport a more female look without telling them also feels wrong.
