In a historic decision this week, a Saskatchewan judge certified the Île-à-la-Crosse Boarding School survivors’ class action at the Court of King’s Bench, and approved the settlement agreements reached last year with Canada and Saskatchewan.

This marks the single largest class-action settlement by the province.
