@VickForcella I gave the Mac to my neighbour's daughter a few days ago, which involved me asking for help on here because it's a UK keyboard and we live in France, and I got some great advice from ifixit more than once, but the neighbour has already decided to buy "autocollants" to put french keys on. It seems his daughter is ready to fight me if I ever want to take it back, which is a great result πŸ˜…

@VickForcella My "friend" in England has suddenly decided he wants to change the Mac for an HP and for me to pay the postage costs to send it back. This is after he said it was mine when I initially asked if I could lend it to my neighbour's daughter.

It's linked to his activation thing and the cunt is trying to use it as leverage for some weird reason. Anyway, the neighbour is buying an apple silicon one second hand and I've just told my English friend where he can stick it. And blocked him. Weird fucker.

Here's my neighbour's considered opinion. We're pretty aligned in our thinking:

@VickForcella This is someone I've known since we were 10 years old. And it's not the first time I've had to cut contact but it will be the last. Something must have happened to him when he was an adult, he wasn't a complete cunt as a kid. Anyway not my problem any more.

            Ho hum.

@VickForcella I'm really angry about this. This weirdo has been a small company owner for years and my little brother used to work for him. His frankly bizarre confrontational attitude was in part responsible for my brother's mental health decline prior to his suicide. And he's so un-self aware that he wanted to go to my brother's funeral so he could catch up with me.

He really doesn't want to meet me face to face. He deserved a shoeing before this latest episode, frankly.

@davep If that, was, a friend I sure don't want to know your enemies.

                Good riddance!
