As long as there is a Trump Administration, there will be people who will try to get enforceable commercial rights for things that were free up ill now.

This stop to free access to laws and government regulations is an example.

Of course citizens should have free access to the laws and standards that they are being held accountable for.
(otherwise they can defend themselves with: I couldn't afford reading the regulations.)

  • Cuz it's one thing to say "not knowing doesn't mean one isn't subject to laws" but actively making it inaccessible is at best flat-out if not blatant !

I wonder how this will affect the public libraries that already have law libraries for their communities? Librarians have fought book bans and now this?
