I decided on a system that has 5 commonly used filaments in "permanent" storage, one or two per project swappable spools and a holder for the dryer machine.

I printed one example of a holder for the PolyDryer Box, but its latch based attachment system turned out to be a no-go from the start. I wanted something where I can just drop the box into the holder and it'll stay there with gravity alone. After some web searching, I went the "oh screw it, I'll make a better one myself" and it was #freecad time.

So here's the finished version after couple of iterations. It's very snug, sturdy enough but won't eat that much filament either when printed.

#3dprinting
