WAR has been business-as-usual since the 1950's.
The most profitable corporations are the OIL & GAS companies!
Whether there are two opponents, or 3 or 4 opponents into war with each other; the OIL & GAS companies provide energy for ALL of them...winners/losers and those that "standby and watch" are PAYING for it when their gas prices and even taxes are raised..
Meanwhile, the OIL & GAS companies are GIVEN $Billions in Subsidies that come from the American Taxpayers et al...
Let that first thought land...
Now realize that the Top 10 Think Tanks take some of those subsidies and form a coalition of donations to the Media to PROMOTE the War efforts to get Public approval of the wars...regardless of the impact (recession or worse) to the average income Taxpayer.
Let that second thought land...
So...when protesters go out and make noise in groups of 100 to 100,000, they are covered by the "Media" as being UN-American or UN-Patriotic, or dismissed as fools.
Granted, this time around the majority of Americans DO NOT Approve of the current Administration's war on Iran, among other things...But their disapproval gets dismissed as Anti-American or "commie propaganda"...aka "The Progressive Left".
When a majority of public servants decide to STOP all this, anyway they can think of collectively, things just *might* change...
Until then, "the beat goes on and the blood flows on and on and on".
