I do loathe the phrase ‘to deliver’ or ‘delivery’ that is now used in politics…it suggests there is an actual precise product or target that will be met, but it never comes. It’s just vague words.

Starmer shut down all discussion about Brexit within the Labour Party. Some thought he was keeping his powder dry…but no, it’s just that he’s terrified of the working classes (ironically because of his own upward mobility) and doesn’t know how to engage in any meaningful conversation. He desperately wants their votes back, but under him the party no longer stands for the working classes or metropolitan towns and cities. Labour is rudderless.
