It seemed like a rough draft. I was so frustrated by it, I re-wrote it. I did the same for another story, and then I started writing my own stories.

I enjoy writing, especially that wondrous moment when my characters start talking to me, telling me where I've made a mistake--that they very much would not say what I just wrote. But, I'm not very good at it.

This has resulted in years of work learning how to tell a story, and then wrapping a story around those ideas. Four years later I think I know how to finish this damn thing.
