Six more children were born in Württemberg, with four dying young. They also raised at least one nephew whose parents had died. They emigrated to the US in 1853, settling in western Missouri, where two more daughters were born. Their orphaned nephew was a cousin in my lines and their two oldest children gave sworn statements in support of his Civil War pension. The family is part of the cluster research for my Voßeler family.
#genealogy
