On the other hand, ko-fi is very cutesy, which could be fun. Depends on the aesthetic you're aiming for, I suppose.

(Ethical in scare quotes because it is doing tremendous heavy lifting around the company, the founder, if you just don't like the pomplamouse cover of Pony because you oppose joy...)

Cash app is always an option for direct one-off donations but I don't know if they do recurring payments

I have seen it used by a few different creatives, and it looks like you can set goals (milestones). Im curious if it could work for your situation.
