Massive missile strike on Ukraine — cruise missiles heading towards Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava regions
Tonight, May 24, 2026, a launch of cruise missile groups from Russian territory was recorded. Seven missiles are heading through Nizhyn district of Chernihiv region towards Kyiv region. Another seven missiles are heading towards Lubny in the direction of Cherkasy district. In Poltava region, two groups of cruise missiles are heading towards Chornukhy. Up to six missiles are heading towards Cherkasy and Zolotonosha. In Cherkasy region, one group is heading towards Cherkasy, and two more towards Kamianka. A rare interception of a Russian Geran-2 drone was also recorded during the coordinated attack.
