I used to use a tiling window manager, bspwm, which I found really useful. When I switched to Wayland I had to leave that behind, but I still find myself reaching for the hotkeys I'd set up to switch between workspaces or split windows and so on.

That said, this project would definitely fail XKCD 1205...
