I don’t normally toot on political stuff (although I do reply to others political posts with my “hot takes”…). But something spooked me about the threat of bombing #Iran ‘s power infrastructure…. Iran has been holding back. They’re taking the high road. A school full of children was bombed, hundreds killed or injured, and the response was to stick to military or industrial targets. Iran hasn’t disproportionately targeted civilian infrastructure (hospitals / schools / civilian centres) in response. But if their power plants are bombed, or their oil terminals seized? They have no reason left to not go scorched-earth. They’ve proven their drones & missiles are potent and accurate. Desalination plants, electricity, oil & gas wells and terminals, tankers at sea…. It would bring this whole shit-show to an all new level. :(
