The birthday party in the 2018-19 outbreak had 100 guests, 1 was infected & 5 got infected from that event so 5% right?

There were roughly 150 people on the ship. One was infected & 8 got infected. So 5%

*Hard to keep track and I'm trying not to include secondary infections.

Wouldn't that mean Andes is more infectious than surge? Am I mathing wrong?

And with these very long incubation times in Hanta we have not seen all yet. The concerning thing is that we do not know when people become infectious during the 1 to 8 weeks until symptom onset. On the positive side, we have contained Hanta outbreaks in the past, it is possible.
