So they're just about to drop X11 support. Sounds not great for NetBSD users in 5-10 years from now.

Q: Did GTK drop X11 support? A: No, GTK 3 and 4 still support X11. Support was deprecated in GTK 4 and will be removed in GTK 5, which right now is in its planning phase; however, once GTK 5 is released, GTK 4 will still be supported for many years to come #gnome #linux
