        @clathetic Yeah, all those #AI #TechBros are just #grifters...

        • Next thing they gonna sell us some #Skiddie in India or Parkistan fucking around with #Ghidra as "hands-on, multi-year experienced reverse-engineers" for "consultation on #Malware" in an "#Enterprise Plan".

          • Which admittedly wouldn't even be a straight-up lie unless they just get some random dropouts who don't even know what "BreachForums" is...

        Seriously, #AIslop needs to be outlawed because it's worse for the envoirment than #Tetraethyllead, #Asbestos and #NuclearPower together!

          @kkarhan @clathetic

          I just want to step in and say not all AI is worse.

          Most of it it, 100%, but there's outliers where it's not only an improvement, it's an improvement in every way.

          For example, in weather forecasting, they found that an AI Model trained on all of the historic data they had, paired with what was predicted vs what happened, ended up producing a model that was more accurate at predicting the weather when given current atmospheric conditions than regular weather models - While also using less power to do so than the older models.

          But yeah the vast majority of AI use is quite negative overall.

          (Also please leave Nuclear out of that list, it's REALLY not that bad either)

            @krutonium @clathetic granted, that's more "#BigData" than "#AI" and nothing new.

            • Like big #FastFood chains use multiple data sources to predict down to the a single order how much they gonna sell…
