The issue is simple: they’ve blocked access to all 11,000+ users.

That means 11,000+ people you can’t follow — and 11,000+ people who can’t follow you.

That’s no different from how Elon Musk handles blocking on Twitter.

If Jeff were blocking me personally for his own account, that would be his choice. I could respect that — just like anyone choosing to block someone individually.

But that’s not what’s happening. He’s making that decision on behalf of all 11,000+ users, without notice and without any input from them.

Again, that is what Elon Musk does on Twitter.

He jumped my case because I was flagging a "HelloQuitX" bot as a spam bot

Some Important Mastodon Personality(tm) complained to Jerry and he deleted all my posts

Only thing he didn't do was simply vaporize my account, but that said, I'm well rid of him

That only makes sense if your assumption is true. You’re concluding I must be evading bans because I’m being blocked, but I’ve never used the Infosec instance before. Nor do I have a desire to do so.

On the Fediverse, people having accounts on multiple instances is normal. Many people do it to overcome the fragmentation.

If you make new accounts and keep getting them blocked, it's because you're doing something that brings them to the moderator's attention to get them blocked. It's not like people are out there using psychic mind powers to figure out that your new account is correlated with your old.

Change the behavior that gets you blocked, and you'll stop getting blocked.

I, for one, am VERY grateful for @jerry and the effort he puts into keeping this instance full of trash.

Sure, I can provide a screenshot from a direct message I sent 2 months ago.

But I would also like to provide a URL to his site showing how he suspends my account remotely. I have never been a member of his site, nor do I recall previously communicated with Jeffy before he took these actions.

As such, I doubt he he has any interest in even receiving my communication, or anyone else's for that matter.

When all communication breaks down and you reach a point where reaching out no longer has value, the goal becomes warning others.

So let me be blunt: I wanted him to be the last person to see this, in order to buy time.

As shown in the original post screenshot, I reached out and was consistently ignored. I even created a new account, and that was suppressed as well.

I’m also not the only person who has experienced this — so warning others was the point.

They don't yet know about this account (yet), and as shown in the screenshot, they don't show up via the hashtag either.

The hasthag "Mastodon" and "Fediverse" for example, need approval and has not been updated for 1, 2, and 5 days ago.

I feel sorry for everyone there, because Jerry is no better than Elon Musk. Everything is filtered and all 11,000+ users have no clue.
