Wheels lost traction, so I stopped and tried to dismount, and the bike kept floating up as I tried to lift my leg over.

I had to strip the wheels once I got home, there was still water sloshing around in the hollow rims.

Bit colder than the one time a participant did the same, but he just (somehow!!?!?) didn't spot the 90 degree turn at the Stanley Dock branch and rode straight into it.
