We learned as much in our civics classes in school. I vote for the candidate in my riding that I think will best represent me at the current time. Over the years I've voted for candidates in different parties - whatever made sense at the time.</p><p>I don't understand the idea picking a "team" in politics. There's never a perfect choice so choose who will be the best, even if all the options aren't great. And always, always, vote. Vote in every election at every level. I have never missed an election; from school trustees, municipal, provincial, and federal. Every election is critical and every vote is important.</p><p>I wish all my friends in the US all the best as they deal with these uncertain times.
