After having them seen instigate so much violence, and their disregard for its victims, it's really hard to feel anything for them.

Seeing them try to instrumentalize the event for their political gain makes me sick. Heck, even if they did nothing, it would still feel like a distraction from all the other shit they are pulling.

I can understand that! For me, I see how these events barely move the needle anymore. We heard about how the Kirk murder was going to change everything, but as far as I can tell it hasn’t at all. But maybe that is bc I’m not plugged into that world. I read the news rather than watching it, which helps a lot in removing myself from the reality TV feeling of it all.
