Maybe because I’ve heard all the talk about it and I was prepared or maybe I’m just not as discerning?

I did spend 20+ years writing Windows code and five doing Linux stuff. 😁

NT 3.51 is still the most robust OS I’ve ever used.

I thought it also varied based on if Liquid Glass to bar items were present or not (the rounder corner radii match the curve of the LG elements); if just, say, traffic lights up there, then the curvature more closely matches those

I think it’s a vast improvement. I’m not a developer so maybe I don’t notice the inconsistencies everyone is always talking about. I have one app where the share sheet won’t display correctly but otherwise I’m quite happy with 26.

I lived through Windows 8 (which was the catalyst for me to move to Mac). Maybe the scars from that experience have made me numb to issues others find incredibly annoying. 😆

Tahoe corners are really round. Pre-Tahoe/macOS 26 builds have less round corners, which is a really weird choice, if you ask me. I know you didn’t, but there you go.
