In my classroom I see the results of our society teaching this cr*p to young women well beyond the readership of this magazine, reversing gains of the last 50 years seemingly overnight. "Drivel" is a good word for it, but dismissive--which I think we can no longer afford. "Dangerous propaganda" may be more accurate.
