I don't mind setting up a reverse proxy and all that. But it has to be dumb easy on the client end for friends and family to enjoy.

Steaming outside your local network is free (but you have you set it up).

But the Jellyfin app isn't as ubiquitous as Plex is. AFAIK there's still no app for PlayStation.
