I'm in the process of leaving all "big tech" platforms and services, and I only expect this to accelerate my endeavour.

... But as a hosting provider I guarantee you that the "Internet noise" (mostly spam, bot traffic, and automated free pentests) has been horrifically bigger since chatgpt.

Filtering that often takes drastic measures and filtering hosting IP or VPNs/Tor is some of it.
