<![CDATA[what's emerging as the most enjoyable part of Digimon Beatbreak for me is the setting.]]>what's emerging as the most enjoyable part of Digimon Beatbreak for me is the setting. they're going for a dystopian world that is heavily segregated by class, with the poor neighborhoods being partially flooded, presumably due to climate change. there's some decent commentary going on dealing with technocracy and gentrification, decent for a teen-oriented anime I mean. one of those shows where the episodic stories and side characters can be more interesting than the main story and characters.
