To that end, I'd say it is crucial for US cyclists to organize their communities (and reach out and educate and bring more cyclists into your advocacy community) now.

Despite cars being so much more dangerous and all the second chances drivers get, I predict that unless there is an unprecedented grassroots organizing of cyclists, US states will start requiring licenses of those using e-cycles (or maybe even cycles in general).

Although driver after driver killing people hasn't gotten speed governors required on cars,
