Because Trump shook hands with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and said "Thank you again. Thank you again. Won’t forget,"
I want to know what Trump's people say to the Supreme Court justices in private.
Because eventually it's going to be a threat.
Same with representatives and senators.

To be clear, we already know they're being bribed, because that's out in the open.
We also already know house reps are scared of contradicting Trump because their families get threatened.
I wonder how long it'll be before the first person says they've actually been physically threatened.

We need only recall what Liz Cheney had to endure to appreciate that they are already making implicit direct threats, and they've been making stochastic ones for a while.
I imagine they're busy threatening everybody (or many) in the background already, directly.

We already know the president is transactional about everything so his comment to Roberts is definitely transactional as well. He's saying he will reward Roberts.

It's not so cryptic. It's actually pretty obvious. It's actually pretty stupid to say out loud in front of other people. Yeah, I'd say it's the opposite of cryptic. Definitely the opposite.

The Supreme Court just blocked the lower Court ruling to provide SNAP benefits to those who need it.
The Supreme Court has no legitimacy.

If this turns out to be an extremely short stay pending the appeals court weighing in, then it is what it is, but they could have justified not doing so in the case and that they did not, is disappointing

It was a short stay because the appeal court was going to rule on the matter. It has now ruled on the matter and upheld the lower court order to distribute the money.
Note that because the Supreme Court stated even for the one day, some states stopped distributing the money. Good job.

Trump is now appealing that decision to the Supreme Court because he does not want to give people in need any money at all because he is a heinous horrible crook. The Republican party is complicit. None of this is in the best interests of the country.
The Republican party and Trump need to go to jail for the rest of their natural lives for abdicating their role in the political system, and treason.
