I was nearing having enough for the OLED 512GB version and being okay with the fact that everything was out of stock for the time being. Only to receive the news yesterday that the deck is now CAD $1129 and $1349 (512GB/1TB models). Sigh and slow blink. If I didn't have enough hate for the world right now with it's AI BS affecting everything good...

You could build a better am4 based PC or steambox for $1200CAD, even with RAM and SSD costing what they cost....

Unless mobility is critical and crucial to your use-case it's just not worth it
